How to watch TV Tokyo live online

TV Tokyo's prime-time programmes, from about 7 pm to 11 pm, stream live for free on TVer, the official service of Japan's commercial broadcasters, a little behind the broadcast. TVer says its live streams cannot be watched in its TV app. We found no official way to watch TV Tokyo live outside Japan.

TVer's TV app runs on the Fire TV Stick and connected TVs, but TVer says live streams cannot be watched in the TV app; there you get catch-up. On phones, tablets and the web, live works.

Can you watch TV Tokyo abroad?

We found no official way to watch TV Tokyo live outside Japan.

U-NEXT, which took over Paravi, co-owned by TV Tokyo, in 2023, says its service can only be used in Japan.
