What this site is
World Channel Guide answers one question for each TV channel: how can I watch it live? At home, on which official app or website, free or paid, and what happens when you are in another country.
Today the guide lists 3,637 TV channels from 20 countries and regions, with full guides to the 145 biggest. Each guide lists its sources: 417 pages in all.
How we check
We read the broadcasters' own pages: their live pages, help pages and price pages. A fact we cannot find there needs two independent sources that agree. Each page shows the date we last checked it and lists its sources. Prices and rules change, so the official pages always win.
We only link to official services. We never link to unofficial streams.
What Yes, Partly and No mean
Every channel and country page answers "can I watch it in this country?" with a coloured dot.
Yes (green): the channel itself streams live there, on its official website, app or YouTube channel.
Partly (amber): only in some countries, only some programmes, or only through an official alternative that is not the channel itself, such as an international version.
No (red): we found no official way to watch it live there.
How the site is paid for
By advertising. Every advertisement is labelled. No broadcaster pays us, and advertisers do not choose what we write.
